Day 2: Sentinel Peak of Tugela Falls Hike

After breakfast the lodge will transfer you plus minus 30 to 40 minutes to Sentinel Parking Area from there, we will hike 5.5 kilometres to Chain Ladder and when you have completed the climb, you will walk plus minus 1.5 kilometres to view Tugela Falls. Tugela Falls is a complex of seasonal waterfalls located in the Drakensberg of Royal Natal National Park in KwaZulu-Natal Province, Republic of South Africa. Tugela falls is the second-tallest waterfall in the world with a combined total drop of its five distinct free-leaping falls is officially 948 m (3,110 ft).

After the hike we will return to the Lodge to spend the night Dinner, Bed and Breakfast or if you booked 1night we will return to Durban

Day 3: Royal Natal National Park to Durban

After breakfast we will check-out and on the way back to Durban we will stop at the small town of Howick to visit its waterfall. KwaNogqaza or Howick Falls is approximately 95 m in height and lies on the Umgeni River. The local Zulu people named it the “Home of the Tall” referring to its height. Next to the falls lies a quaint old section of Howick which has a selection of historical museums and antique stores to visit.

After Howick Falls we will drive you back to Durban.
